John Coetsee has a special interest in endodontics and has been performing root canal treatment on a referral and consultancy basis for many years. Generally root canal therapy has a good prognosis and can restore the tooth to a functional unit for a number of years. Root canal treatment is more often than not fairly painless, although it is a long procedure. If your dentist has referred you, we will do our utmost to review your case, discuss the prognosis and help you get your smile back.
Surgical Root Therapy
Where indicated surgical Root treatment can be a wonderful, conservative treatment option. At times a well-fitting crown on a reasonably well performed root canal refuses to heal. An elegant time efficient procedure allows us to remove the infectious part and leave the crown undisturbed. This therapy option is specific to the cause of the problem. An optimum treatment when indicated.
